On Monday, Wednesday & Saturday volunteer staff are available (at the lower level of the Ulladulla Civic Centre) to assist with Family History searches, general advice on genealogy, advice on “how best to search”, “where to search” and assist you as best they can. Our goal is to provide a service at minimal costs.
We do have charges related to facilities use and research. Non Members who wish to carry out research in our rooms do so at a cost of $10.00 per day. Print costs may also apply.
Members can do any research on the above days and are requested to donate a gold coin.
Our library contains reference books, other books on aspects of family research and journals received from other groups. These are available on any of the days we are open.
Advantages of Society Membership is that members can borrow books (other than reference books) and any exchange journals, on a monthly basis. We have a good range of microfiche and growing stock of CD’s which we can access on our PC’s. The CD’s are available for borrowing on payment of a small deposit.
Internet access for family history research is available on our PC’s including world subscriptions to Ancestry and Find My Past at no additional cost.
Our Journal “Pigeon House Tidings” is published twice per year – in June and December.
This is exchanged with many other family history groups throughout Australia, New Zealand, England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
